Blizzards Spotted All Over Central Florida, For The Kids

Temperatures reached a high of 94 degrees in Central Florida on July 27, but photos of Blizzards sweeping the area hit social media all day long. But neither the heat nor the Blizzard social media storm were surprising, as Dairy Queen was celebrating its 12th annual Miracle Treat Day to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Miracle Treat Day is the largest, one-day fundraising event for the participating stores in Brevard, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Flagler counties. This one-day event bring Dairy Queen fans together to purchase a Blizzard, from which $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold directly benefit the area’s CMN Hospital, which is Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando.

Our Dairy Queen locations had visits from local CMN team members, ambassador families who have been treated at Arnold Palmer Hospital, and even some special guests from Miss America titleholders.

Even our media partners at CBS Radio and Entravision Orlando got in on the fun of eating dessert first!

It was certainly a very busy day filled with lots of sweet treats!  Thank you Dairy Queen for all of your support for Arnold Palmer Hospital.
