Cool off this Summer with a Sweet Cold Treat
Now through July 25 you can purchase a Miracle Balloon at participating DQ locations to help kids treated at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Then on Thursday, July 25 celebrate Miracle Treat Day where $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating locations will benefit your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
Your support helps kiddos
Calvin Monroe, received lifesaving care at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. “My Heart Better.” Coming from 3-year-old Calvin, those words hold infinite meaning. On New Year’s Eve 2014, Calvin was rushed to the hospital for life-saving care. After an irregular heartbeat, his heart stopped for 6 minutes. Doctors quickly brought Calvin back to life, placing him on an ECMO (heart and lung bypass machine). Without help from the machine, Calvin may not have survived. It is because of the funds raised from our partners like DQ that kids like Calvin have the equipment they need to survive, read Calvin’s full story here.
For years, DQ has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1984 and has raised nearly $150 million for local children’s hospitals. Their support has brought healing and happiness to kids treated in our hospital in numerous ways — the $50,000 raised in 2018 in donations help to fund over 20 essential programs and services that wouldn’t be available without support from partners like DQ.
