What's Happening at TMC for Children: June 2019
Can you believe that the school year is over and summer is just around the corner?! We can’t believe it either. Check out these amazing opportunities to support TMC for Children during the month of June!
What’s Happening at TMC for Children in June:
- Dairy Queen: Stay cool with a Blizzard and while you’re there, support children in Southern Arizona by making a donation of $2, $5 or more starting June 1st!
- S. Mark your calendars for Miracle Treat Day on July 25.
- Little Friend Remembered event: Team Lizzie Bell will host its 16th Annual charity fundraising event on June 7. Proceeds from the event help children coping with serious illness and provide scholarships for continuing education for pediatric nurses, social workers and child life specialists.
- Child Safety event hosted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office: TMC Healthcare and Safe Kids Pima County will be participating at this Child Safety Event located at the UA Rec Center from 11-2 p.m., June 7.
- Summer Safari Zoo Nights at Reid Park Zoo: TMC Healthcare is a sponsor and will be attending June 8 and June 22. Each night is themed and has a different learning experience. For example, June 8 is World Ocean’s Day.
- Walmart and Sam’s Club: Starting on June 10, you can put your money where the miracles are and support TMC for Children, Children’s Miracle Network by making a donation at the register.
- Car seat giveaway: TMC for Children is partnering with KVOA and TPD to offer a car seat giveaway on June 22.
- Register through KVOA’s app under contests; registrants must complete a 1.5 hour long car seat education class held at the TPD westside substation. After completion of the class, each registrant receives a free age and weight appropriate car seat
- GEICO: We are partnering with GEICO on June 24 to offer a free car seat class from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Upon completion of the class, each registrant receives a free age and weight appropriate car seat
