Blizzard Run: Quarantine Edition

To ensure the safety of their community, Pam and John Miller, owners of the York Dairy Queen on Roosevelt Avenue, have canceled the in-person Blizzard Run and are instead hosting a Quarantine Edition of the Blizzard Run to benefit Penn State Children’s Hospital.

The annual race, which has raised $128, 905 over the past four years, will now become a virtual walk/run race that will culminate on August 22 when participants can post pictures and use the hashtag #BlizzardRun2020.  Prizes will be given for several categories including most festive outfit, wackiest socks, best Children’s Miracle Network outfit and more!

The Blizzard Run would not be the same without a delicious Blizzard waiting for you at the end of the race. Each participant will receive a certificate for a complimentary Blizzard at the York Dairy Queen Roosevelt Avenue and a high-performance race shirt will be mailed to them after they register. For more information and to register please visit www.BlizzardRun.com.

#CMNHershey applauds Pam and John and the entire York community for recognizing that #kidscantwait.
