Dairy Queen® Helps Change Kids’ Health at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital on Miracle Treat Day® Thursday, July 31.
Dairy Queen is helping change kids’ health and bringing hope at OHSU Doernbecher, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Doernbecher wants to ensure the children in our community can lead healthy, fulfilling lives. But they can’t do it alone.
On Thursday, July 31, participating DQ® locations are giving back to positively change the health of children in our community. $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating DQ® locations will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through these donations, Doernbecher can provide treatments and support patients desperately need today, so that they can fulfill their potential for tomorrow. Donations from Miracle Treat Day help patients like Hazel.
Hazel’s life with a rare genetic disorder, PCDH19-epilepsy, causes frequent seizures and developmental challenges. At Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Hazel found not just medical expertise but also unwavering support. The hospital’s dedication, coupled with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ funding, ensured Hazel received the care she needed to manage her condition and thrive. Today, Hazel’s infectious energy and charismatic personality light up every room, a testament to her resilience and the power of community support.
The DQ® brand has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for over 40 years and has raised more than $1.5 million locally for Doernbecher. Children’s hospitals are at the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations and DQ® locations nationwide want to help them foster the business owners, creators and leaders of tomorrow. Thanks to your donation, this will continue to create a ripple effect to change kids’ health to change the future in our community for years to come.
Thanks to you and the DQ® location in Oregon and SW Washington for helping change kids’ health to change the future at Doernbecher.
