Miracle Treat Day is coming to Dairy Queen!

There’s nothing sweeter than helping kids treated at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America on Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen®.

Miracle Treat Day happens in the United States on July 25 and Canada on August 8 and both days raise funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada thanks to the fans and franchisees of Dairy Queen®.

On Thursday, July 25, $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating U.S. Dairy Queen® locations will be donated to CMN Hospitals.

On Thursday, August 8 in Canada, net proceeds from Blizzard® Treat sales at Canadian Dairy Queen® locations will be donated to local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network.

Funds raised go to help children like pediatric patient Teddy. Teddy is 11 and is treated at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York for hydrocephalus, a buildup of fluid in the brain. The condition results in problems with short-term memory, physical deficits and other neurological conditions yet Teddy approaches each day with renewed excitement.

Teddy was named the 2018 honorary Chief Blizzard Officer of Dairy Queen. Teddy’s role as Chief Blizzard Officer allows him to help spread the word about how charitable funds raised by DQ fans and franchisees help bring happiness and healing to kids just like him.

You can get to know more about Teddy and Miracle Treat Day in the latest episode of Tough Questions where Teddy interviews ADQ President and CEO, Troy Bader, to discuss all things DQ!

We hope you’ll head to your nearest participating DQ on Miracle Treat Day and help bring healing and happiness to kids. Then, share your favorite Blizzard® flavor with us on social media by using the hashtag #MiracleTreatDay.

Since 1984, the Dairy Queen® system has raised nearly $150 million for CMN Hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.
